Rebel Wilson has been "in touch with her inner siren" since losing over 30kg.

The Pitch Perfect star decided to focus on her fitness and weight loss in 2020 as part of her "year of health" and has made quite the transformation, dropping over four stone.

She explained in the past how things are different for her now she has lost weight, but since shedding the pounds, she has been focusing on her inner siren, after years of just being "the personality girl".

She told Australia's The Daily Telegraph : "I grew up not really trading on my looks, I was the personality girl.

"But after going through my whole health transformation last year, I've been in touch with this 'inner siren.'"

Rebel has also been on a fertility journey in the past few months as she is really keen to have a family of her own.

"I've been going through a fertility journey for the past two years and I'm hoping at some point I may have a family of my own," she explained to the publication.

"But it's still a bit unclear whether that'll be the case. I feel like it's not over yet. It's kind of an emotional roller-coaster. But I've been trying my best, so whatever will be, will be."

She says she has always been confident whatever her size, but she noticed how people changed how they treated her after she lost weight.

"I like to think I looked good at all sizes and stuff and I've always been quite confident. So it wasn't like I wasn't confident and then now I'm, like, super confident. I think what's been really interesting to me is how other people treat you," she told The Morning Crew With Hughesy, Ed and Erin.

"Sometimes being bigger, people didn't necessarily look twice at you, and now that I'm in a good shape, like, people offer to carry my groceries to the car and hold doors open for you. I was like, 'Is this what other people experienced all the time?'"

Rebel explained how she had "never really focused on her health" so decided to make 2020 the year of change.

She added on The Drew Barrymore Show: "I was going all around the world jet-setting everywhere and eating a ton of sugar. That was kind of my vice. I have a very sweet tooth, I love desserts.

"I think what I really suffered from was emotional eating and dealing with the stress of becoming famous internationally. There is a lot of stress that comes with it and I guess my way of dealing with it was just eating donuts."
