Big things are on the horizon for 20-year-old model Ariel Nicholson — and we're here to make sure you don't miss anything. Ariel is the first to be featured in Teen Vogue's new video series, The Lead Up, which follows individuals as they prepare for a major event in their lives.
In the video, Teen Vogue hangs out with the model and college student (who was the first transgender model to appear on the cover of Vogue) for a week before she walked in big NYFW shows like Gabriela Hearst and Moschino. In The Lead Up, we see her working on her college homework, attending fittings, grabbing lunch, and zipping between life as a runway model and a college student.
We follow along as Ariel deals with the stress of waiting to be confirmed for NYFW shows and running back and forth from campus to castings. We also get a peek at Ariel's skin care routine, which includes a Clean & Clear cleanser and Clinique Moisture Surge moisturizer, as well as some of her favorite clothing items, including blazers and boots.
