EastEnders star Maisie Smith is said to have recently spent the night at the home of her co-star Zack Morris, as their rumoured romance heats up.
The actors, who play a married couple on the BBC One soap, were spotted heading into his flat together earlier this week, and leaving the property separately the next day, according to The Sun.
The publication claims that the 20-year-old actress and the Keegan Baker actor were seen leaving a cinema together, before heading over to the 22-year-old's house in his Mercedes.
In pictures obtained by the newspaper, the EastEnders colleagues cut casual figures as they enjoyed a night at the flicks together.
Maisie, who plays Tiffany Butcher in the long-running soap, donned a relaxed outfit for the outing with her co-star - wearing socks and sliders and an oversized hoody.
Keegan also wore a low-key ensemble - rocking trainers and a baseball cap for their evening trip to the movies.
It was reported that the morning after their night out, Keegan left his Essex property in his car - with Maisie vacating the home alone later on, nipping to a supermarket to grab some groceries before driving away in her own car.
An onlooker told the publication that the pair "seemed to be a couple" but appeared to "check" for anyone close by spotting them together.
"Perhaps they didn't want anyone to think they were boyfriend-girlfriend but she went into his flat with him. It was quite late," they said.
"They were trying not to be seen too closely together, and one was either wearing a mask or had a hood up the whole time, but they still looked very much like a couple and people at the cinema complex definitely noticed them," the source added.
Representatives for Maisie and Zack have been approached by The Mirror, while an EastEnders rep refused to comment.
The pair's recent sighting together away from the EastEnders set comes just days after Zack's ex opened up about her relationship with the young actor.
Brooke Maskell split from the 22-year-old actor in December last year after an 18-month romance - with pals later claiming the make-up artist considered Maisie "the other woman" in her relationship with Zack.
“Brooke always felt Maisie was the other woman in their relationship," Brooke's friend told The Sun earlier this month.
"She often says now, ‘There were three of us in that relationship’.
“She’s not at all surprised to see they’re together now," she continued.
“Maisie never spoke to Brooke, even though she was always in the background. It was strange, especially when everyone was talking about their on-screen romance as this hot young couple."
Maisie and Zack have been romantically linked together as far back as November 2020 - prior to the actor's split from Brooke.
"Maisie and Zack are very close off-screen, as well as being a married couple in EastEnders," a TV source revealed to the MailOnline in November last year.
Neither Maisie or Zack have publicly confirmed their rumoured relationship yet.
