Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared the happy news on Tuesday that she is expecting a baby.
The hitmaker, 29, sent her fans and celebrity pals into meltdown when she made the announcement on Instagram with a collection of glossy bump baring snaps.
And during an interview with Nick Grimshaw, that will air on BBC radio 1 this evening, the High Wycombe native - who is engaged to footballer Andre Gray- admitted that the stunning photos were over the top but said "it needed to be extra."
After being quizzed on the glamour of the reveal photos, Leigh-Anne told: "Would you expect anything less? I’m so extra. It needed to be extra. And it had to be green as well."
Sharing that she is over the moon to be becoming a parent, the Wings musician added: "I can’t believe it! Honestly, just in shock. But it’s the most incredible thing ever so I’m just on cloud nine. It’s just mad!"
Leigh-Anne caught fans off guard this week when she took to social media to announce her pregnancy.
The beauty radiated confidence and grace as she modelled an emerald green crop top teamed with a billowing skirt made out of satin in the post.
Sharing her joy, as she looks ahead to the next chapter of her life, the former X Factor sensation typed: "We've dreamed about this moment for so long and we can't believe the dream is finally coming true... we can't wait to meet you."
As soon as the post went live, hoards of the Black Magic musician's celebrity pals took to the comments to send her and footballer Andre well wishes.
Leading the comments were Leigh-Anne's Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall.
Proving that blonde Perrie is over the moon that her bandmate is expecting, she typed: "I can’t stop staring at these pictures. You’re a vision. Ily both so much! CONGRATULATIONS my beautiful sister!"
Jade shared her excitement as she posted a string of heart and crying emojis and wrote: "Love you so much look at this family."
Leigh-Anne's X Factor alumni Alexandra Burke penned: "Omggggbabe !!!! Yes yes AND YES!!!!!!! So happy for you!"
Fellow pop sensation Mabel added: "So happy for you guys congratulations."
Chart-topper Anne Marie added: "You just look incredible."
Actress Millie Bobby Brown chimed in: "congrats <3 soooo happy for you guys x" and catwalk queen Jourdan Dunn added: "Congratulations."
New mum Dani Dyer also wrote: "Omg !!!!!! Congratulations so so excited for you."
Jesy Nelson - Leigh-Ann's former bandmate - is yet to comment publicly, but her former beau Chris Hughes shared his joy at the news by writing: "Shut up get in congrats my people."
