Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she has had to "fork out a lot of money" on security in a bid to feel safer.

The influencer, 21, said she was shocked when a fan travelled five hours to turn up to her home in Cheshire.

On a video on her YouTube channel, Molly-Mae admitted she doesn't know how so many people can get ahold of her address and said "about a billion people" know where she lives.

She said: "I'm not sure I've mentioned this before but I now have to pay a lot of money a month for an extremely high security for the apartment.

"I had a few incidents, I just don't really feel safe anywhere anymore. I didn't feel safe in our last apartment, I don't really feel safe here.

"I don't really feel safe anywhere anymore because I just feel like no matter how much you try and keep your life private, when you're in the public eye your life is never private."

And she revealed that with partner Tommy Fury away, she's redone her entire security plan for the month.

She confessed to her fans that there will now be a permanent security car outside her apartment.

"When Tommy is here it's one thing but when I am here by myself I just want that reassurance that I am 100 percent safe," she added.

She went on to say that while she appreciates PR companies sending her products, she thinks one company must have shared her address.

"There's just no possible way that all these people know my address," she explained.

And trying to make sure she didn't seem ungrateful, she said: "I'm sure you wouldn't like it if people knew where you guys lived and I never want to sound like I am complaining, it's just one of those situations that are hard to explain."

Molly-Mae and Tommy met on reality TV show Love Island and are renting their luxurious apartment while they look for their dream home.
