Towie star Danielle Armstrong has shown off the results of her body transformation with before and after shots just nine months after giving birth.

The reality TV star, 32, welcomed her first child, a daughter named Orla Mae, in May.

Since becoming a mum Danielle, who is engaged to partner Tommy Edney, has worked hard to get her pre-baby body back and has lost more than three stone.

She's now shared a series of before and after pictures, showing how her body has changed in the nine months since she gave birth.

In a post on Instagram, which she titled "9 months in vs 9 months out", Danielle shared pictures of her wearing underwear both with a baby bump and without.

She wrote: "How has it been 9 months? I just wanted to share my transformation with you all because I feel quite proud.

"I always say it 'If it takes us 9 months to grow a baby it's going to take us at least 9 months to get our body back'.

"I've loved documenting my transformation and I would love to help anyone not just mums wanting to feel healthier and body confident."

She started her weight loss journey in July, putting her svelte new figure down to a 21-day plan she embarked on and has since repeated.

Danielle revealed it included work outs at home and following a "simple nutrition plan".

She recently celebrated getting back into her size 10 jeans for the first time since becoming a mum - and admitted they were actually too big for her.

However, she also opened up about the vile messages she's received from fat-shaming trolls.

In a post back in January, the telly star wrote: "Today my baby girl is 8 months I can’t believe how quick that has gone and what a rollercoaster of emotions we go through as mums over those months.

"I wanted to share this post with you all because many of you that follow me know that I got trolled when this picture got posted on an online article...

"'Are You still pregnant', 'Wow you're still so fat'' were just some of the comments and messaged I received.

"Yes I put on 4 stone in my pregnancy, yes my belly still looked pregnant, yes it's all normal."

She previously added of her diet plan: "I wanted to start feeling like me again and to shift some of the baby weight I gained.

"I followed a simple nutrition plan and a few workouts from home and the results have been incredible."
