Dating rumors have been swirling around Lucy Hale and Skeet Ulrich for a few days now, and the speculations have only intensified after the Riverdale actor left a notably flirty comment on Lucy’s Instagram.

On Friday, February 26, Lucy shared a picture of herself posing against an oversized window wearing a plaid miniskirt and lace-up booties with a stiletto heel. It was an altogether amazing look, complete with a grey t-shirt, dark burgundy lipstick, and a perfect highlight, and her trendy dark brown bob was held back with chunky flip-clips. The pic soon acquired over a million likes and thousands of compliments from fans and celebs alike — including Skeet, who took to the comment section to write two words that seem to convey a whole lot: “My goodness!!”

The comment did not go unnoticed by fans, who kicked up their relationship rumors in the comments, telling the celebs that they make a “cute couple.”

Neither Skeet nor Lucy have confirmed their relationship status, but the two stars were spotted having lunch together in Los Angeles earlier this month, and photographs shared by Page Six showed the pair holding hands and leaning in for a kiss.

Lucy and Skeet previously were both part of the Riverdale universe, with Skeet portraying Jughead Jones’s father on the first four seasons of the popular CW series. Lucy played the title role on the Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene, which was canceled last summer after one season. Upon news of the show's ending, Lucy told fans she was a “blubbering mess,” calling her work on the series “one of the highlights of my life.”

Skeet exited Riverdale in February 2020, ahead of the show's current time jump. In a statement last year, Skeet remarked that he was "incredibly grateful" for the friendships he made while filming, adding: "I’m proud to have been part of such a talented group of people, in front of the camera and behind. But I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move on to explore other creative opportunities."
