Rite Aid is offering COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible people at some of its pharmacies across the country.
Eligibility for vaccination depends on the rules in your area. The company states: "Rite Aid does not determine vaccine supply or which individual groups are eligible, but we are supporting state and local distribution plans."
Most appointments can be booked at the Rite Aid website.

How to book COVID-19 vaccinations at Rite Aid
Most appointments are available via the Rite Aid website. In some areas, slots can only be booked through the local health department or government website.
Store workers and pharmacy staff are not able to schedule appointments.
On the Rite Aid site, customers should look for the column titled "How can I schedule my vaccine appointment?" on the right of the page.
They will then be directed to a Vaccine Scheduler where they'll fill out a form to check if they qualify.
Appointments at some Rite Aid stores had to be rescheduled last week because of vaccine shipment delays caused by severe weather, the company said.
"We have already contacted affected individuals and their appointments have been automatically rescheduled for the soonest possible date. If you were not contacted about rescheduling, then your appointment has not been affected," states the Rite Aid website.
Rite Aid customers should bring the following to their vaccine appointment:
- A government-issued form of identification, such as a driver's license or Social Security card.
- Their completed vaccine consent form, which can be printed from the website.
- Their prescription and medical insurance information, such as the Medicare card for those aged 65 or over.
