Rosalía, Priyanka Chopra, and Maisie Williams will be hosting the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Awards tonight—but the ceremony will be unlike any other in the recent past. Held virtually from around the world, it is being livestreamed online exclusively on the Fashion Awards site.
The awards are changing too. In addition to honoring 50 emerging creatives with mentorship and a platform through its New Wave program, the British Fashion Council and the Fashion Awards are dividing this year’s winners into four categories: community, creativity, environment, and people. Twenty winners will be acknowledged in total for their contributions to the industry throughout this strange year in a short film. The film will premiere at 7 p.m. GMT (2 p.m. ET) and will be viewable online afterward.
