Outlander fans, have you been jonesing for a Jamie Fraser fix?

Well, we have just the thing for you, and it features that sensitive sweetness we've all come to know and love from our leading man. In an exclusive deleted scene from season five, Jamie imparts some wise relationship advice on his and Claire's daughter, Brianna, who is struggling to reconnect with Roger.

“When two people love each other enough, nothing can tear them apart,” he says. “No pain, war, death, nor time. I told your mother once, ‘Nothing is ever lost, only changed.’ She told me it was the, uh, first law of thermodynamics. I said it was faith.”

If even just reading those words made you swoon, watch Sam Heughan say them for yourself, below.

This deleted scene and more can be found in the Outlander season five collector’s edition Blu-ray set, Blu-ray, and DVD, which will be available on September 15 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. It's available for digital purchase on September 14, so don't miss out.

Outlander season six is expected to come out sometime in 2021. Back in 2018 the show was renewed for two more seasons, which will include the upcoming one. “Fans can rest assured their beloved Claire and Jamie will be back facing new challenges, adversaries, and adventures in seasons five and six as we delve into American history and continue the story of the Frasers as they settle in the New World,” Starz president and CEO Chris Albrecht said in a statement at the time.

While the coronavirus has certainly thrown our entire television schedule into disarray, meaning we don't know premiere dates for many of our favorite shows, there's one thing we can always count on with Outlander: lots of romance, traumatic drama, and sexy time.

Perhaps you want to revisit some of the show's sexiest scenes ever while you wait—you likely won't be sorry you did.
