BTS took to social media on Monday night (Sept. 14) to announce their upcoming virtual concert special, Map of the Soul ON:E.
On their official Weverse, the K-pop group detailed that the digital event would be streaming twice over the course of a single weekend on Oct. 10 and 11. The first showing is set to premiere at 6 a.m. EST on Saturday, while the second will kick off at 3 a.m. the following day.
And that’s not all: Map of the Soul ON:E will also include a month-long virtual exhibition from Oct. 13 through Nov. 12. Billed as a “3D virtual space,” the exhibition will have BTS memorabilia for sale through Weverse, with some items and packages exclusively available to members of the BTS Global Official Fanclub.
Tickets for both concert showings and the follow-up exhibition can be purchased by visiting the boy band’s Weverse.
Trending on Billboard
BTS has been riding high on a new wave of success as of late, earning their first No. 1 single atop the Billboard Hot 100 with the release of English-language single “Dynamite.” (The disco-influenced track currently sits a No. 2 following two consecutive weeks at the peak of the chart.)
The band also brought “Dynamite” to the socially distanced 2020 MTV Video Music Awards at the end of August, performing the bop live from Korea in oversized blazers, suits and bespoke tailoring.
