TikTok has become the go-to app for people of all ages during the pandemic.
The video-sharing platform, which is used to create short dance, lip-sync and comedy videos, has become a way to keep busy and entertained during these trying times.
Many Latin artists, such as Karol G, J Balvin, and Camilo, have created accounts to not only stay connected with their fans but also promote their new music. In true TikTok fashion, these songs are then accompanied by a short dance or challenge, igniting many influencers, celebrities, and users to jump on the trend.
Garnering thousands, millions, and even billions of views or post creations, check out five Latin challenges on TikTok you should learn below.
Karol G – “Ay, Dios Mío!”
The Challenge: With over 875K videos created at the time of publication, Karol G’s “Ay, Dios Mío!” is making the rounds on the app to narrate the story of a person who had a good night out with someone and their sexual chemistry. Before the current trend, Karol G initially used her own song to show how she was craving a donut in the middle of her diet.
