The wig is very durable in terms of construction and it combs out very easily. It was ready to wear right out of the package! I do have a lot of experience with wigs so I understand that those who don't will have issues with a wig of this length. Always start brushing from the bottom! I have not tried heat on it. It was perfect and did not need any styling at all. It does state in the description that it is high temp but I recommend getting a few fibers and testing it out first."—
