Rihanna is a busy woman. Too busy, in fact, to release any new music of late—no matter how much her fans may beg her.

But in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight this week, the pop star did say that she has some new hits currently in the works. “I am always working on music,” she said. “I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it's gonna come out.”

It's been four years since the release of her last album *Anti, but *Rihanna asserted, “You're not going to be disappointed when it happens. It's going to be worth it. I'm not just gonna put it out just because people are waiting. It's taken this long. I'm gonna make it worth it.”

Besides, in the meantime, she has a beauty, lingerie, and luxury fashion empire to manage, on top of launching a new skincare brand this month.

In the interview, she also reflected on the recent anniversary of her first single “Pon de Replay” and how far she's come since then, saying, “I'm 10 years older, I'm 15 years older. I thought that was just a few years ago, now it's like a decade-plus. THAT is what I think about! But I'm also really grateful to still be here and being able to expand into other ventures. I'm grateful. It's been fun and I can't even complain.”

In terms of what fans can expect from the new album whenever it does finally come out, in Vogue's November issue cover story the singer teased, “I like to look at it as a reggae-inspired or reggae-infused album. It’s not gonna be typical of what you know as reggae. But you’re going to feel the elements in all of the tracks.”

Just don't hold your breath for a release date anytime soon as in April, Rihanna warned that production was on pause as she was way too busy “trying to save the world.”
