Gwyneth Paltrow and her private parts are at it again.
Capitalizing off the success of “This Smells Like My Vagina,”, her $75 candle for Goop that sold out in a matter of hours, the actor announced Tuesday she’s launching a new scent. And, this time, it smells like her orgasm.
During an interview on The Tonight Show, Paltrow revealed that she’s once again teamed up with Heretic, the fragrance brand behind the original provocative scent, to create “This Smells Like My Orgasm.”
“Actually,” she told Fallon, this candle, “might be more for you to give to your wife.”
According to the Goop website, the Iron Man star’s climax smells like “tart grapefruit, neroli, and ripe cassis berries blended with gunpowder tea and Turkish rose absolutes for a scent that’s sexy, surprising, and wildly addictive.” The candle comes packaged in a box printed with fireworks and is available for preorder now.
This isn’t the first time Paltrow and Goop have cashed in on the female anatomy to stir up a little controversy. In the past, the company has shocked customers by endorsing vaginal steaming, a $15,000 24-carat gold-plated vibrator, and jade yoni eggs. That last one got them fined $145,000 in civil penalties for “unsubstantiated claims.”
Paltrow told Fallon that the whole idea for this line of candles evolved into something “punk rock, feminist.” And admittedly, there is something pretty punk about getting rich people to pay $75 to make their whole house smell like your genitalia.
