Love Island star Francesca Allen has been filmed being involved in a blazing argument that culminated with police swooping in on the action.

The 24-year-old reality star was a contestant on the ITV2 reality romance show in July last year where she was romantically linked to professional dancer Curtis Pritchard before being dumped from the villa.

But the reality star has been caught looking more like a fighter than a lover in explosive footage that has been shared online.

Francesca was spotted with friends outside the King Oak pub in High Beech, Epping Forest, on Saturday wearing a black vest top and shorts.

Footage shared by the MailOnline shows the reality star screeching at another woman who is dressed in a beige coloured short and sleeveless playsuit.

According to the outlet, the ladies were arguing over a man – with voices being raised, and expletives thrown.

Onlookers can be heard gasping and laughing in disbelief as they film from a safe distance as the arguing becomes more and more heated.

Francesca can be heard shouting: “You're not going to do anything, you're not going to. Why come over here then!”

While the other woman can be heard shouting and swearing in response.

Other women try to intervene to separate the women, however Francesca continues to point at her apparent love rival and wave in her face.

Friends of the woman in beige attempt to hold her back, while the pair continue to scream and shout at each other.

The women square up to each other before police suddenly appear on the scene from bicycles.

As the scene becomes more chaotic, the footage becomes less clear, showing the woman in beige being pulled away by a police officer in a bright fluorescent yellow jacket.

While two other police officers, with handcuffs, are seen charging into the crowd while a male voice beside the camera filming declares: “It is madness up in here!”

An eyewitness told the MailOnline: "They appeared to be fighting over some guy.

"He was on the side and basically telling them to calm down. It didn't seem right, like they were fighting over him.

"Francesca was trying to stay calm but when the girl got involved, that's when she lost it and went for her."

While a police spokesman has been quoted: "We were called at around 5.10pm on Saturday 30 May, with reports of a disturbance outside the King Oak pub in High Beech.

"We received information that a large group of people had gathered on green space outside the pub and reports of people fighting.

"We attended the scene and gave words of advice to people about congregating.

"They were understanding and left the vicinity without issue or the need for enforcement action."

A spokesperson for Francesca told The Mirror Online: "Francesca was approached by two unknown females on Saturday afternoon who began verbally then physically abusing her. In self-defence, Francesca defended herself.

"The attack was witnessed by the police and Francesca was asked if she wanted to pursue the matter, to which she declined."
