This necklace had me at hello for two reasons: I’m a big Lizzie Fortunato fan, and I love a pearl. Lucky for me, pearls are having a real moment right now, even if I like to think of myself as a loyal pearl enthusiast, rather than a fair-weather fan. Lizzie Fortunato also happens to do pearls particularly well: I have invested in many of their pearl pieces over the years, and they always bring with me a multitude of compliments. The reason I love Lizzie is that she makes thoughtful, well-designed jewelry at a great price. (Plus, I’m always excited to support a female-driven, independently run business based right here in New York.)

My personal feelings aside, what makes this necklace a real steal is the ability to style it in a multitude of ways. With the ability to wear all the charms together or separately, it swiftly becomes a more affordable (and stylish!) way to get in on the pearl and natural stone trend. And how pretty is that green color? I can already imagine this necklace instantly becoming part of my everyday jewelry wardrobe in 2020—and beyond.
