Don’t give up your dream. I am exactly where I’ve always wanted to be. I’ve wanted to be a public servant since I was 10 years old. My life wasn’t easy. I grew up in a home with domestic violence and many struggles. I worked three jobs and took six years to get through college, but graduated from my dream school. I nearly died having my first baby, and as a family, we nearly lost everything during the Great Recession.
