conspiracy to commit arson, riot, institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct. One has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. The 13 defendants range from 16 to 43 years old and live in Lancaster and surrounding communities. The father of Kathryn Patterson, 20, an undergraduate student at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, told the Associated Press she was acting as a medic, as she has at other recent protests.
“Everything that I know so far, which is not a lot, indicates that Kat is not guilty of those charges. But then again, we’ll have to wait and see,” said Chip Patterson, who lives in Mercersburg, about 100 miles west of Lancaster.“I cannot tell you how long this night has been,” he said Tuesday afternoon. “I think regardless of what these people did or didn’t do, the bail amount is just outrageous and clearly against the Eighth Amendment,” which addresses bail.
Detectives are reviewing online video and surveillance footage and additional charges are likely to be filed, according to police. The clashes between police and protesters broke out after a night of mostly peaceful demonstrations in downtown Lancaster on SundayMunoz's sister had called authorities in hopes of having him involuntarily committed for mental health treatment. She said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
Body camera video showed Munoz approaching an officer with the knife in what appeared to be a menacing manner, before the officer, who has not been publicly identified, shot and killed him.
Burn Loot Murder
Finally someone is calling the protesters what they are!Rioters, they need to be arrested
They need to make it cash only if damage was done and if no permit was given for protest/ riot/arson/ANTIFA!
So no one's going to do anything about this activist judge violating the 8th amendment? We're going to descend further into this muck? Because the other side isn't going to stop protesting due to a little judicial tantrum.
It saddens me to see how many Americans have given up on a just legal system and are willing to throw away due process and basic human rights.
Should of been 10 million.
So because people protest cops that want to kill people they get arrested.
😂😂😂😂😂
More of this please!
Good
8th Amendment Excessive Bail
When they hold protesters who killed no one but give murderer cops go home on paid vacation
The word you are looking for is rioters
Good
LeBron can pay it.
Ridiculous & excessive. Manafort--who committed treason against the US (for yrs)--got a 2 million bail. Roger Stone got to go on social media & literally spew lies & then had his sentence commuted...after years of criminality & corruption. & cops con't to kill with impunity.
KamalaHarris You bailing them out also?
Good.
Should be $10 million
