Half of women 'have woken up to find their partner sexually assaulting them'The study has caused a lot of debate from people who do not believe the figures are true, and those who suggested that having sex with someone who is asleep may not be rape. When two drunk people have sex, the woman gets away with it while they prosecute the man despite neither having consented according to the law. If there is no consent given then it’s a rape. It’s not okay because “it’s in a relationship”. Consent is always necessary, especially in a relationship. Consent. Consent. Consent. That’s because the figures have been manipulated and are misleading, and the results of this ‘study’ have been sensationalised for personal gain. Repeating these falsehoods undermines such important issue and it’s offensive to real victims. Please metro correct your reporting 🙏
