I’m glad people who don’t believe in science or doing all they can to protect their patients are being removed from the NHS. If she loves her vocation that much she can get vaccinated and she can keep her job. Simple solution. Some people have real problems to cry about.

I’m staggered that 40 midwives in one unit have refused the jabs. What’s going on there? I know loads of medical people and they’re all 100% behind getting vaccinated.

The Siren study measures nucleocapsid (internal) Ab as evidence of infection. The study does not test for spike Ab, the blocking Ab providing active protection. NC Ab may remain high with waning spike Ab, and so immunity. NC Ab titres should not be used as evidence of immunity

So devastated that she's willing to walk away from the patients she cares for rather than have a vaccination. i don't want people in the NHS who don't believe the science. No sympathy at all.

She has antibodies. The testing she is doing tells her so. What will a vaccine provide her with that she doesn’t already have? I say that as a triple jabbed 46 year old woman.

One thing that the midwife said that wasn't challenged is that vaccination affords a benefit only to the individual. This isn't true. Vaccination drives down community transmission which benefits the general population. It means we are thinking about others, not just ourselves

I would feel very unsafe, being looked after by unvaccinated midwife.

Listening on sounds - please stop talking about issues that do not apply to whole UK as if they do. NHS Scotland will not be dismissing non vaccinated staff notjustengland nhsscotland

She is complaining about damage to the NHS which her own actions are causing 🤷‍♀️ And actually wasn't able/willing to give any reason why she didn't want the jab. I'm mystified as to how she had the gall to appear on the show womanshour bbcwomanshour

She is so incredibly selfish. And manipulative. She prepared her whole spiel to pretend that the sole purpose of a vaccine is to self protect. It is not as any medical professional or basic biology student knows. It is to protect others against transmission. So she’s a liar

I'm sorry but I have no sympathy with this midwife. She sounded extremely sad that she was going to lose her job if unvaccinated. SO GET VACCINATED.
