A WOMAN was left mortified after she was asked to wait outside a garage because her crop top was “inappropriate.”shared her experience with her 176,000 followers, and her video has since received over 1.5 million views.Credit: @tiawould/TiktokIn the post, Tia can be seen showing off her outfit, which consists of a burgundy crop-top and a pair of denim shorts.

Captioning the post, she wrote: “Was told to wait outside the inspection station because my shirt was too inappropriate.In a follow-up video Tia explained how a female member of staff had asked whether she had another shirt she could put on and when she said no she was asked to wait outside the garage until the inspection was finished.“It passed thank God, I mean it probably wouldn’t have stayed inside with my shirt looking how it does.

Tia later shared a video of herself phoning the garage where she asked whether they enforced a specific dress code. The receptionist explained that they only ask customers to wear face coverings and was horrified by Tia’s experience.One wrote: “Wait there’s nothing wrong with your outfit though?” “THEY are inappropriate for that,” agreed another, while a third added, “I wear crop tops everywhere, especially when it’s hot!”
