Wiley: Why Ed Sheeran and Drake are 'culture vultures'

The grime godfather spent the last couple of mornings tweeting about Drake and Ed Sheeran, calling both of them"culture vultures".It’s amazing seeing everyone up in arms with Wiley’s recent rants. Anyone who has been following Wil for 20 odd years knows this is classic Wiley marketing for his new album.

He said he saw no positives from Drake bringing people out"as if he is Jesus Christ the saviour" during his seven sold out nights at the O2."Mandem who are not from the hood come to places and try and get involved with man from the hood. Wiley is a pioneer of the scene and because of that he holds it very closely to his heart. The grime scene to Wiley is like his child and I think it's difficult for Wiley to see his child grow up and go off into the world.

My takeaway from it is that Wiley is rare in this business - in that he's been in it for a very, very long time and he still speaks his mind.

well they ain't effing rock stars.

Really...who cares?

Wiley has done a track w Ed Sheeran before, not the first time Ed has leaned towards Urban/ hip hop music

What a f*****g nerve anyway, calling yourself drake, there was only one drake and that was nick drake...

It just sounds like kids bickering in the playground.

Lol Wiley pls get a life 🤷‍♀️

I mean, Ed Sheeran had like 2 good songs. Drake just needs to stop

WHO?

Who gives a shit?

That article makes no sense to me, I don’t understand it!

Wiley is like a grandad now. Dyes his hair and everything. You should see his harem. 15 year olds lol

Don’t like Ed or Drake’s music but Ed is a decent guy and Drake just gave us Topboy S3 and a soundtrack for it, turned up for Section concert, got BBK tat and features with Giggs, Skep, Dave, Jorja etc. They both get a pass from me.

BBC sending bailiffs around to grandmas house, because she hasn’t paid for a TV license. GULP!

It's like Blur vs Oasis all over again... 🤔

nah...they a bbc babes.....average boring uninspiring music aimed at dumbing down the youth.

they're idiots nothing else.

JEALOUSY!

Wiley’s just mad cos he’s not get any attention from them ahahahaha
