Fifteen-year-old Gadi was stabbed on his way home from football practice simply because he wandered into the wrong area. More than 20,000 people in England and Wales were injured by knives or sharp instruments last year and survived. Many, like Gadi from London, struggle to come to terms with what happened. He tells Clive Myrie his story.

Can we see the figures to show the ethnic mix of the perpetrators? Many would be very interested to know who is causing this modern problem.

It's horrible he got stabbed,but let's not bullshit, he got stabbed because he's in a rival gang or has links with one and he knew he was in the wrong place and paid the price, I grew up in a rough part of the city and you know at 15 where is safe and where isn't.
