Millennials are flocking to the northern city for the Canary Wharf-but-cool vibes

hen James Castledine and his fiancée, Soomin Hwang, thought about buying their first flat together, they wanted to live in a city of international calibre where they could further their careers. They considered moving to London, as generations of media types have before them, but instead they will close this month on a flat in Deansgate Square, a new-build complex of four skyscrapers in Manchester city centre.
