SLEEP is important for many different reasons including improving mood, healing and repairing heart and blood vessels as well as helping those on a weight loss journey. Dr Michael Mosley has shared his tips with Express.co.uk how much sleep pays a role in shedding fat.

“Along with higher levels of resistance to insulin, which have also been spotted in the sleep-deprived, changes in levels of cortisol can lead to weight loss becoming much more difficult for those who don’t sleep properly.
