I wear a mask while walking the dogs down river and towpaths because you cannot always keep the 2 metre distance. You can always drop the mask off the nose when nobody is about.

The lockdown in all the Western Countries will be over in the couple of months provided with the right vaccine and right treatment. What we are facing right now in each homes is human rights abuse , maltreatment , crimes and bullying. The Western Countries needs at peace.

Utter crap. Why didn’t you publish the many studies that proves the opposite?

Lies.

‘Top’ the spread? The daily mail can’t even proof read its own headlines....

Typo in your headline

Explain California then.

Is actually the biggest nonsense to wear them . Face masks don't protect you at all against a virus.

Pseudo science nonsense. Questionnaire and modelling. Laughable.

Nah

Yet the virus consistently spreads throughout the world. Like ALL other viruses before it. So you logic is false.

Make your mind up dailyFail!

Worked well so far we in lockdown 3 🤣🤣🤣🤥🤥🤥🤥

What an utter crap study - 'The study is observational and is therefore unable to prove a direct causal link between mask wearing and transmission.' - Therefore totally pointless and not evidence based at all.

BS

Wrong. Virus particles are far too minute to be kept out by a mask. There are many scientists, doctors and epidemiologists who say the same.

Triples the chance of you getting a bacterial lung infection more like

Bullshit! The biggest spreader is hospitals, are we saying the staff don’t wear masks

Oh fuk off

robinmonotti disagrees. I am with him on this one.

BS.

Why are they still using assumption based models. Surely there is enough actual evidence to support (or not support) the hypothesis.

Show us the peer-reviewed scientific evidence!

It was summer.....

You’d better pull this pretty quick. You’ll have Hitchens in full toddler meltdown mode banging on the digital editor’s door first thing. (That’s PETER HITCHENS...Hopefully makes this easier to find when he does his hourly name search 😏)

What utter garbage. Who paid for this study? 3M! Mask wearers of the world unite

Certainly stopped a lot of coughs and colds.

Obviously. Why has it taken you 11 months to tell your readers this?

And in another study, readers found that having AI edit your copy isn’t that helpful when you’re trying to make a point. (top.)

Then wtf are we at 99% mask usage and it’s still spreading like crazy? Something tells me we’ll be 1 month into Biden presidency and it will all magically get better.

You're seriously using a Web survey from July as clickbite! How about trying this one instead. lazyjournalism

Face masks, mad dash for new vaccines, lockdowns, social distancing... I think I missed it all in 2018 -

This seemed to be obvious even six months ago. I couldn't believe the Govt not compelling usage of them while out in public. I dare say there would have been a fair few thousand less deaths.

Wearing masks does NOT stop the spread of covid and is likely to result in you getting bacterial pneumonia. Your government wants you dead.

I've followed back 112 handles today, ready for more. Follow ezenachioha and I'll follow back immediately.

Not reading the daily mail results in better mental health and a more rational view of the world

Only works if also accompanied by a carrier bag on the rest of the heed
