Wearing face coverings would give my mother who is over 70 more confidence. There isn’t much science behind it. I’ve been wearing a face covering on public transport since 15/6. There is no one enforcing it or checking exemption! People don’t social distance as much either

Wear masks shops - but not in schools. Work from home if you can - but get back to the office (even if you can work from home). It's like the policies are based on nothing other than making money. The shock at this revelation is... erm... miniscule.

In a world where we need to be greener and working from home is proving effective, why force us back into the office?
If this becomes policy and you enter a shop without a mask, they don't have any right to serve you. So don't bother about complaining.
There’s literally no point to go back to the office, productivity has increased while people have been at home so the office should only be used when absolutely necessary other than that no one really needs to go back.

people are not going to go back to work in the office, they are going to work from home or local hubs, and maybe visit a central workplace once a week if that, depending what they do
If masks are so protective all those who are afraid should wear them and go shopping secure behind their masks. Simple. And the rest of us can choose not to but that is fine because they are protected by their masks!
