Donna Amos and Anne Morley, Directors of the Family Department at BBE Law, were asked to walk the demanding 235ft rollercoaster to raise money for local charity, Home Start. Despite being apprehensive at first, the colleagues of the Blackpool-based solicitors finally completed the challenge on Sunday 12 June.
She continued: "I came back from a holiday to Greece the day before so I didn't have much time to prepare myself, which was probably a good thing. We got there around 6pm and had a safety chat, where they told us the walk isn't for everyone and they can send someone up if we want to back down. "About 100 or 150m up, they said to look over at the Ice Blast ride and told us, which was very tall and told us we'd be going 100ft higher than that."
Home Start is a nationwide charity that helps families with young children through challenging times. For this particular fundraising event, it was to raise money for Home Start Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre in order to make a difference to families in the area.
