UK today confirmed another six infections, bringing the total since the outbreak began on May 6 to 196. Health chiefs revealed contact tracing has linked cases with 'gay bars, saunas and the use of dating apps'.
The findings also detail that nearly 90% of all cases in England were among London residents. At least 57% of cases are among men who have sex with men, while only two infected people are women. It comes as the WHO European director Dr Hans Kluge says monkeypox requires 'urgent' action.
Health orgs are suggesting that the vaccine is given to gay men, who are the ones currently spreading Monkeypox in the U.K.
So lock down but munchers not the full country this time to end the monkeydemic?
Straight from a paper whose prick of an editor claimed yesterday that the EU ordered the UK gvt to remove the Pint/Imperial marker from beer glasses.
Well that deserves to be classed as a homophobic front page and is going to result in hate crimes against the gay community CasperBryson
Nasty
the devil is indeed a cheat.
Of course 42% of cases were in people not linked to gay community but don't let the UKHSA data cloud a good grift
There are less than 10 cases worldwide. This story is silly outrage.
