Donald Trump has warned America to brace for a “very, very painful two weeks” as the White House projected that the coronavirus pandemic could claim 100,000 to 240,000 lives, even if current social distancing guidelines are maintained.

240,000 US deaths? Population 327000000. CDC predicts up to 80% of population could become infected. Approx 261600000. At current mutations, WHO has estimated COVID19 has a 3.4% fatality rate. That's 8894400 Americans that could potentially die. Talk about propaganda!!!

Predictions depend on the assumptions made in computer modelling - real life often doesn't completely comply with a computer model. I once accurately predicted the gold price pm fix to 2 dec places for 5 consecutive days - that was it the forecast accuracy never happened again.

This could have been mitigated three months ago. Real leaders admit when there’s a monster in the wing, not try to cover it up and make money off of it.
