Toxic air pollution particles found in pregnant women's PLACENTAS for the first time

Researchers from Belgium scanned biopsies of 28 women's placentas. They found black carbon particles, which come from burning fossil fuels. Evidence of carbon travelling into the foetus has not yet been discovered.
