ARMED cops today stormed a church after a Tory MP was stabbed multiple times at a constituency surgery.1A man is understood to have walked into Belfairs Methodist Church and knifed the 69-year-old multiple times.Police confirmed a suspect has been arrested and said they are not looking for anyone else."We were called to reports of a stabbing in Eastwood Rd North shortly after 12.05pm."We'll bring you more info when we have it.

One witness said: "David Amess Southend MP stabbed in Belfairs Methodist church Eastwood road literally as I was outside the building."Tory MP David Morris said: "Absolutely horrendous news, I am praying for Sir David."Labour frontbencher Wes Streeting tweeted: "PLease God let him be OK."SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford said: "This is truly awful news.
