"Would you revoke someone's medal for saying racism is wrong? But I think it's good they have lifted it.

She explained:"I did see it as completely unenforceable and I think they had no choice but to lift it otherwise they would have been faced with loads of athlete protests at the Games and it would have been very embarrassing for them. She also invoked history."Some of the Olympics' most iconic moments have been the black power salute by Tommie Smith ," she said.

Don’t mix sport and politics, it’s unacceptable. Protest if you feel strongly enough, but in your own time, and not while representing your country.

They should stop them they are supporting terrorists

It's an unacceptable political Act and any Athlete that dose it should fast sanctions in my view

Lucky there are no spectators to see it....

If she Breaks the rules and gets banned then don’t come crying after.

👍 dinaashersmith

horrible

That's very true but the Olympics is not meant to be about politics and it's a disgrace if any of them do in my view

Well it is they just disqualify you ?

So I'm struggling to keep track. Are we allowed to call Japan an obscenely racist country today? Pointing out that fact seems to ruffle some feathers on here

The Olympic committee need to stamp out this kneeling to a marxist cult. If they allow it, then what other political gestures will be tolerated ?
