SPANISH officials have closed three beaches popular with Brit tourists after a mystery fish bit two young kids.
A seven-year-old boy near Elche was rushed to hospital with bite wounds to his foot, before a ten-year-old was nipped off the coast of Alicante.Cops closed El Pinet beach as well as La Marina and El Rebollo from about 6.30pm on Friday amid fears the fish could be poisonous - but opened them early this morning.El Pinet is a beach in the south of the municipality of Elche on an impressive strip of dunes.
The first was found at Mal Pas beach, a little cove between the town’s main beaches, and the second was found at the popular Levante beach.
