'This is what living with this virus looks like.' Jason Leitch, Scotland's national clinical director of healthcare quality and strategy, tells krishgm more vaccines are likely for over 50s, as Covid infections in the UK rise by more than 30% in a week.

Their infection survey showed an estimated 2.3 million people or one in 30 across the UK had Covid in late June with variations across the nations.

It’s the highest number of infections in the UK since late April and is due to a rise in two sub-variants of Omicron according to officials. We spoke to Professor Jason Leith, Scotland’s national clinical director of healthcare quality and strategy.

krishgm Us unvaxed are fine, you addicts carry on screwing your immune system.

krishgm I found this interview so disturbing. Jason Leitch admitted that he was not fully recovered from COVID but returned to work anyway, made no mention of taking a COVID Test to be sure he was Negative & then completely ignored LongCovid which over 2 Million in the U.K. now have

krishgm But no mention of protecting the immunosuporessed with Evusheld , a prophylactic used by 30 other countries. This issue needs raising BehindTheMask

krishgm Your message to stay at home for five days and then go about your business is perhaps a source of Scotland’s higher covid problem. Most people in England (testing regularly) are continuing to test positive for at least 10 days at the moment!

krishgm 😆😆

krishgm

krishgm Interested to know why, my 6 yr old granddaughter and 6 yr old nephew along with my NHS worker daughter in law all have this same week different schools and areas all have covid yet no mention from government on how rife it is at the moment.

krishgm So why has Scotland got high covid levels? After watching this, it’s pretty clear why 🤦‍♀️ He is washing his hands and cleaning surfaces for an airborne virus 🤦‍♀️ They just had a conversation about how many people are dying as well 😱 Try masks and ventilation!

krishgm I’d be interested in why he suggested wiping surfaces and washing hands but said nothing about ventilation when the virus is airborne.

krishgm Loving Prof. Jason 💖 He got Scotland through COVID with his excellent advice.

krishgm jasonleitch remains silent on the growing and significant problem of Long Covid in Scotland preventable

krishgm The SHOUTY dentist strikes again just when you thought you'd seen the last of this Scotgov spunk rag 😾

krishgm Lemmings ahoy.

krishgm Turned on half way through this report. Please can you keep interviewees names and details on display throughout a report? Context really helps.

What just keep pumping chemicals into our bodies when we have no idea what the long term affects are from the vaccines which are not licensed.
