, done serious harm to Britain’s longstanding relations with Ireland, and significantly ramped up the political tensions in Northern Ireland. Lord Frost’s impact is seriously alarming. The effect on Britain’s standing with the US administration, and in the world, threatens to be dire. Thank goodness he never became national security adviser, as was once planned.
The EU didn’t want the ‘deal’. It was a UK government decision. They pushed it through parliament in hours. Those that were celebrating clearly didn’t read it. Can unelected Lords not read? No good bleating and blaming now. It’s your mess so sort it. The world shakes its head…
or just let him get popper'd up and off to Heaven?
I'm not sure I'd assume Frost is out of control. Johnson is a fool but I don't think he's that much of a fool. If Frost is stoking tensions with Ireland, it has to be likely that Johnson wants him to do that. It wins votes in England and that's really all the govt cares about.
UK people are as good as you can get. UK govt are a different breed to them. Dangerously incompetent and corrupt and anti people
It is going according to plan: to cover for the domestic sad circus (120000 deaths, corruption, bullying settlements among other things) the focus has to be pointed to the EU. He is doing his job as requested.
If that’s the view then he must be doing an outstanding job 👍🇬🇧
world_news_eng wish it's going reasonably, love
Lord Frost has made an outstanding contribution to our Brexit journey. Without him (and Boris), we'd have kowtowed to Barnier and the unelected EU, leaving ourselves shackled to the incompetent Brussels cartel.
thanks for this news
Isn’t it funny you never raised any such query when the EU did the same thing? ‘It has ramped up tensions in northern Ireland’ is an outright lie.
Bloody unelected bureaucrats ruining everything.
