Editorial: Britain is being drawn into the confrontation between Washington and Tehran

“This is a dangerous game,” an Iranian foreign ministry official warned on Friday. He was urging the UK to release the Iranian tanker which the British navy helped authorities in Gibraltar to seize last week. But the context, as he made clear, is the intensifying struggle between Washington and Tehran, in which the main players appear overconfident they know the rules and understand the stakes, while minor players fret about outcomes they have limited power to change.

Interesting perspective on the parties still trading with Iran for oil

Each that participates in this fiasco are losers. There hasn't been any authenticated and verifiable hard core, in your face evidence, that those tankers purportedly to have been attacked via the work of Iranian Revolutionary Guard or by their backed groups in the Persian Gulf.

So we are upset with Iran, that kept to the deal in the first place. We all know it’s about controlling that region.

Khamenei is Supreme Leader and a religious cleric, he declared a fatwa on nuclear weapons and unlike Trump he'll stick to it or face ridicule. He also leads a very modest life, the big orange babies sanctions won't effect him or threaten his position from inside Iran.

What if the world's young people simply refused to participate another war for oil? ClimateCrisis

You can't obfuscate the situation. The secular people of Iran, are hostages to inhumane Ayatollahs. The world should help, but not make the Ayatollahs feel as if they represent Iran by negotiating with them, as it escalates.
