THE Guardian has apologised for an editorial that former Prime Minister David Cameron had only felt "privileged pain" over the death of his six-year-old son Ivan.

It added: "Mr Cameron has known pain and failure in his life but it has always been limited failure and privileged pain. Tory MP Zac Goldsmith said: "These aren't just the ugly thoughts of a maverick columnist. These are the words of the actual Guardian editorial. It is their corporate view". Comedian Jenny Eclair wrote: 'I am furious with David Cameron but to question his grief as the Guardian is doing is vile beyond vile - his 6 year old son died'.

This can be caused by brain damage before and around the time of birth, or it can be passed on in the genes.

The modern Left's fetishisation of 'victimhood status' at work. The idea of having empathy and sympathy for someone not regarded as 'oppressed' or who didn't have his 'pronouns' in his Twitter bio must have irked the guardian no end.

You mean how the EU backside kissing traitor used his dead son to sell a book, that's what it amounts to 🙄
