Whether you prefer Lovecraft Country or Time’s Arrow, sharing a book with a friend is a great way to stay in each other’s thoughts

On Friday 16 October, the last day that we could mingle with other households, I met my friend Sophie. We went to the cinema to see The Thing, John Carpenter’s 1982 classic horror, and then we went to Foyles bookshop. Our plan was to buy Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff, because we spend most of our time texting about the HBO adaptation, and to buy each other a book that we loved to keep us entertained during the second lockdown.

FaceTime and give friends and family a call once in a while. It’s good for everyone. Write letters if that’s your thing. Send homemade cards with pressed flowers in it. Few ideas 🥰

There are no more excuses to not read the HOLY BIBLE, the Word of God. So R E A D I T !

If you’re allowed to buy one. Apparently they are non essential goods 🤔
