Actually, Putin DOES want you to see this. Well, not YOU, but his own citizens. He's delighted the 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan military is shooting at the protesters: it's the best possible deterrence for future protests in his own country🇷🇺

It's not foreign military invasion, the legality of CSTO involvement must be questioned . The only foreign military present had to be Russian troops.
