'The Batman' trailer just dropped, giving a first look at Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight and Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman and we're obsessed

The story takes place two years into Bruce Wayne's career as Batman, when he was still just a masked vigilante, and when there are people 'who are afraid of him, quite frankly,' Reeves said. As it's early into Batman's emergence, it means that Catwoman, the Riddler and the Penguin are still in the early stages of their development, too.

Production on the film was shut down because of the pandemic, so while its release was initially scheduled for 21st June 2021, it's now been pushed back to March 2022. Fans are naturally gutted about the delay, but now there's an epic teaser trailer to get excited about.
