The star’s exit is due to be addressed in Thursday’s episode, where she tells Lord Sugar that she will be leaving the process due to her rheumatoid arthritis.

‘Because of medical reasons, due to this process being so physically demanding, despite the efforts the whole team has made to support me, I’ve had to make a difficult decision to leave the process.’ Shama’s exit means that 13 candidates remain in the running to become Lord Sugar’s next business partner.

The last star to be fired by the businessman was Conor Gilsenan, after the teams were tasked with creating an electric toothbrush aimed at children aged six to eight.
