testtrace in worst-hit areas only contacting 58% of close contacts they should. Historically 1 in 6 contacted actually do self-isolate for full 14 days required by law. So only about 10% of close contacts who should be self-isolating actually are? Covid19UK getagrip

'Currently, councils are only given the power to trace infected people, not their close contacts.' So not only has the government not improved the privately-run, centrally imposed track-&-trace system, it's also stopping the local authorities from doing a better job!

Another failed government project. Wasn’t it supposed to be “world class”, more like “third world class”😂😂😂

What do you expect? They are too busy planning what to do with the £millions that have dropped in their lap

But this Government keeps giving them pots of money-22 billion up to now. No one seems to ask the simple question has it been cost effective? is it worthwhile. Lack of oversight makes one think that there is some mystery skullduggery going on and others are lining their pockets

Lucky bastards 😂

How much is that an hour but they saved the government £500 per person.

😆 what a sh*t show. Incompetent, lying, compromised and bought. The British government of 2020 👏👏👏

Bout right

Oh well its a good job there wasn't a lot of money spent on it then 😏 .

Ah well. 106,700 of them would have been fine.

That's a suprise 😂

What’s more annoying is when you updated to latest iOS it blocked track and trace app . You had to reinstall it which meant you lost all your check ins ..... 🤬🤬🤬

World beating. Hilarious.

So that whole 'trace' bit...

Good

thanks

Any call for easing is quickly answered by higher infections.
