Preaching to the 1% there. We can't afford a 'back up' holiday, so we are going to Cornwall. We'll be staying in country for the foreseeable. And they wonder why people think the middle class are selfish Sometimes it feels like you're trolling with your perceived smug, middle-class tone, as if you need to play down to your image. As it happens this year I'll hopefully be taking the uk holiday I had to cancel last year. I know it's a bit second-class but there you go.
