Nicola Sturgeon has apologised directly to the two women who were failed by the Scottish government’s investigation into their sexual harassment complaints against Alex Salmond, but denied that there was any plot against the former first minister.
How about apologising to Salmond after he was not found guilty .

If Salmond is innocent (as seems to be the result of the court case), then why the need to apologise to these women? And therefore isn't apologising to them a political move?
