Where are the entrepreneurs designing ingenious machines to remove vast amounts of rubbish from rivers and better recycling facilities, and the government's and companies that want to use and invest in them?! Governments can win votes & companies gain customers if they do it.

This is just beyond belief, that a society could be so callous as to expose their fellow citizens to these kinds of unsanitary conditions, conditions that will surely lead to a host of diseases. Bangladesh must literally clean up its act.
