Stacey Solomon and Kaye Adams got into a fiery debate over the concept of "stay-at-home" girlfriends during Friday's instalment of the ITV panel show Loose Women.
The social media star does the cooking, cleaning and washing, and is happy to let her beau bring in the cash for them as a family instead. "I’ve got a problem with it," Linda replied, as Scottish TV host Kaye, who competed on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, chimed in. Puzzled by her co-star's opinion, Stacey insisted that the operative word was "want," and the most important thing is that women have the choices they didn't used to, regardless of how they use them.
"The power dynamic is always that women will be financially dependent on men. We’re not talking about stay-at-home boyfriends," the TV host said, prompting Stacey to point out that no one knows if the girls posting about their lifestyle choices don't have their own money.
