Soldier and her husband found dead near Dorset beauty spot in suspected suicide pact

A SOLDIER who worked as a personal assistant to three consecutive heads of the Army has been found dead in a suspected suicide pact.

Deborah McGuinness, 49, was discovered next to her husband Peter, in his 50s, near a Dorset beauty spot on Monday.Police were called to Durlston Country Park near Swanage at 8am after the pair were found unresponsive in a car.The couple, from Kingston, South West London, had been in the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers for 22 years.Sir Richard called Debs a “model soldier” and said: “It is only some comfort that she and her husband were together.
