Shenzhen is set to become the first city in mainland China to ban the eating of dogs and cats, if a draft regulation released by the municipal government in a wider push to restrict the consumption of wild animals is approved.

Eating dogs is part of their culture. We only see it as odd because we keep them as pets. We eat cows here. In India where the cow is seen as a sacred animal, I'm sure they strongly disagree with this. Now, how would we react to the suggestion of a ban on these products?
